In Montenegro, the authority responsible for corporate registration is the Central Registry of Business Entities (Centralni Registar Poslovnih Subjekata), which operates under the Ministry of Economy. Companies must also register with the Tax Administration of Montenegro to obtain a Tax Identification Number (TIN). Common company types in Montenegro include DOO (Društvo sa Ograničenom Odgovornošću), a Limited Liability Company, and AD (Akcionarsko Društvo), a Joint Stock Company.
