Haiti is the western third of the island of Hispaniola, between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, west of the Dominican Republic.  In Haiti, company registration is managed by the Centre de Facilitation des Investissements (CFI). Common company types include the Société à Responsabilité Limitée (SARL, Limited Liability Company) and the Société Anonyme (SA, Public Limited Company), with businesses primarily concentrated in sectors such as agriculture, textiles, and construction.
